Here’s a photo from the Alachua Lake overlook. I took it during my bike trip on Sunday. I took the Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail to Hawthorne and back, about 27 miles. It was exhausting but a lot of fun. I set out about 5 p.m. in hopes that it would be starting to cool off, but it stayed hot until around 6:30.
